Electronic Press Kits (EPKs)
An Electronic Press Kit (EPK) is a public-facing profile page for an artist that you can send to booking agents, promoters, venues, press outlets, sync supervisors, and anyone else who needs a professional overview of the act. Instead of assembling a one-off PDF or email with scattered links, you share a single URL that always has the latest info.
Creating an EPK
Section titled “Creating an EPK”- Go to an artist’s detail page
- Click the EPK tab
- Toggle the EPK to enabled
- Configure the sections and settings to match what you want the recipient to see
EPK sections
Section titled “EPK sections”An EPK can include:
- Stats — Spotify followers, popularity, and other streaming metrics that booking agents and curators look for
- Press photos — high-resolution images for media use, festival marketing, and venue promo
- Videos — music videos, live performances, interviews, and session recordings
- Accolades — awards, chart positions, notable press quotes, and sync placements
- Quotes — pull quotes from reviews, interviews, or tastemaker endorsements
- Social links — all the artist’s social media profiles in one place
- Discography — selected releases to showcase the artist’s catalog
- Contacts — booking, management, and PR contacts (controlled by your settings so you decide what is visible)
EPK settings
Section titled “EPK settings”Configure how the EPK appears and who can access it:
- Visibility — Public (anyone with the link) or Private (hidden until you are ready to share)
- Search indexing — Allow or prevent search engines from indexing the page — keep it off if you only want to share directly with specific contacts
- Theme — Dark, Light, or System (follows the visitor’s preference)
- Contact display — Choose which contact info appears on the public page so you can show booking details without exposing personal information
Sharing your EPK
Section titled “Sharing your EPK”Once enabled, each EPK gets a unique public URL. Send it in pitch emails to promoters, include it in booking inquiry responses, or add it to the artist’s link-in-bio. The page is standalone — visitors do not need a ReleaseLoop account to view it.
Tips for a strong EPK
Section titled “Tips for a strong EPK”- Keep press photos high-resolution so media outlets and festival organizers can download and use them directly
- Include recent accolades, chart positions, and press quotes — these are often the first things a booking agent or curator scans for
- Use the contact settings to show booking and management emails without exposing personal phone numbers or addresses
- Review your EPK from the public link before sending it out to make sure the layout, photos, and content look right from the visitor’s perspective
