Managing Your Billing

Billing is handled through the Billing page, accessible from the sidebar. ReleaseLoop plans are lifetime deals — you pay once, so there is no recurring subscription to maintain.

The Billing page shows:

  • Your current plan name and status
  • Usage against your limits — releases, artists, contacts, storage, and team seats
  • Options to upgrade or add seats

When your operation grows — you sign more artists, bring on team members, or need royalty imports and payout statements — upgrading takes about 30 seconds:

  1. Go to the Billing page
  2. Compare plans and click Upgrade on the tier you want — the price shown is the difference between your current plan and the new one
  3. You are redirected to Stripe’s secure checkout
  4. Complete the one-time payment
  5. Your workspace is upgraded immediately — new features and higher limits are available right away

Lifetime workspaces can buy extra seats without changing plans:

  1. On the Billing page, find the Add lifetime seats panel
  2. Choose a quantity — the panel shows the total price and your projected seat limit
  3. Click Buy seats and complete Stripe checkout
  4. Your seat limit increases as soon as payment is confirmed

See Team Members & Roles for how seats and roles work.

Only workspace Owners and Admins can access the Billing page and make purchases. This means your A&R and marketing team members will not accidentally change your plan or see payment details.

If you reach a plan limit — for example, you have 15 releases on the Solo plan and try to create a 16th — you will see a message prompting you to upgrade. Your existing data is never deleted or locked. You just cannot create new items beyond the limit until you move to a higher tier (or, for seats, buy an add-on).

If your workspace is on an older monthly or annual subscription, click Manage Subscription on the Billing page to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the billing period and your data is preserved — release metadata, artist profiles, contacts, and financials all stay intact.
