Assets & Files
The Assets tab on a release is where you manage all the files associated with a campaign — cover art, master WAVs, promotional photos, visualizers, press shots, and anything else your team needs access to.
Cover art
Section titled “Cover art”- Upload an image to use as the release’s cover art
- The cover art appears on release cards, the calendar, and anywhere the release is displayed throughout ReleaseLoop
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP
- Most distributors require a minimum of 3000x3000 pixels at 72 DPI in RGB color mode — upload your final artwork here so the whole team can access it
File management
Section titled “File management”You can upload files directly or browse from Google Drive if you have connected the integration. This is useful for keeping your master WAVs, alternate artwork versions, lyric sheets, liner notes, and promo assets all linked to the right release.
Uploading files
Section titled “Uploading files”- Go to the Assets tab on a release
- Click Upload or drag and drop files
- Files are stored and linked to the release
Google Drive integration
Section titled “Google Drive integration”If your workspace has Google Drive connected:
- Click Browse Drive in the Assets tab
- Navigate your Google Drive folders
- Select files to link to the release
This is ideal if your team already organizes assets in shared Drive folders — you can keep your existing folder structure while referencing files from within ReleaseLoop. No need to re-upload master WAVs or artwork that already live in Drive.
Storage limits
Section titled “Storage limits”File storage is limited by your subscription plan:
| Plan | Storage |
|---|---|
| Solo Lifetime | 1 GB |
| Label Lifetime | 25 GB |
| Agency / Pro Lifetime | 100 GB |
Your current storage usage is visible on the billing page. If you primarily use Google Drive for large files like master WAVs, the Drive integration lets you link those files without counting against your ReleaseLoop storage.
