Comments & Activity
Each release has Comments and Activity tabs so your team can communicate in context and you can track exactly what happened and when.
Comments
Section titled “Comments”The Comments tab is a threaded discussion space tied directly to the release. Instead of digging through email chains or group chats to find that one message about the artwork revision, everything lives right alongside the release it is about.
- Post messages visible to all workspace members with access to the release
- Use @mentions to tag specific team members — notify your designer that artwork needs a revision, flag the artist’s manager about a date change, or loop in your marketing lead on a playlist pitch update
- Comments are displayed in chronological order
Use comments for things like:
- Giving feedback on cover art or promo visuals before they go to the distributor
- Coordinating release date changes when mastering runs late or a distributor deadline shifts
- Leaving notes for collaborators about cleared samples, licensing details, or metadata corrections
- Discussing marketing strategy adjustments mid-campaign
Activity feed
Section titled “Activity feed”The Activity tab shows a chronological log of everything that has happened on a release:
- Task completions (e.g., “Distributor delivery” marked as done)
- Status changes (e.g., moved from Draft to Scheduled)
- File uploads
- Marketing activity updates
- Team member actions
The activity feed is read-only and gives you a full audit trail of the release’s history. This is especially valuable on a label where multiple people touch a campaign — you can see exactly who did what and when, without having to ask.
