Google Drive

ReleaseLoop integrates with Google Drive so you can browse and link files directly from your Drive without re-uploading them. Your masters, artwork, press photos, and promo assets stay where they are — ReleaseLoop just gives you a way to access them from the release page.

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Connect Google Drive
  3. Sign in with your Google account and grant permissions
  4. Your Drive is now linked to the workspace

Only one Google Drive account can be connected per workspace. If your team uses a shared Drive (common for labels), connect the shared account so everyone in the workspace can browse the same files.

Once connected, the Assets tab on any release gains a Browse Drive option:

  1. Open a release and go to Assets
  2. Click Browse Drive
  3. Navigate your Google Drive folders — find your master WAVs, final artwork, music videos, or press photos
  4. Select files to link to the release

Linked files remain in Google Drive — ReleaseLoop creates a reference to them rather than copying them. This means you are not eating up ReleaseLoop storage, and your files stay in the folder structure your team already knows.

To disconnect Google Drive:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Click Disconnect next to Google Drive

Disconnecting removes the ability to browse Drive from releases but does not affect files already linked. Those references stay on the release page — they just will not be browsable until you reconnect.

The Google Drive integration requests read-only access to browse your files. ReleaseLoop does not modify, move, or delete anything in your Drive.
